These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Azonkoy Travel Agency (“Azonkoy”, “we”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “the traveler”).
By booking a trip with Azonkoy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
To confirm a reservation, a non-refundable deposit is required per traveler.
This deposit covers administrative costs, trip planning, and the reservation of exclusive services such as entrance tickets, permits, flights, and accommodations.
The remaining balance must be paid 60 days before the trip begins.
If payment is not received by the due date, Azonkoy reserves the right to cancel the reservation, notifying the client in advance.
Once purchased, Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be changed, in accordance with the official regulations of the Cusco Department of Culture.
If a trip is canceled or modified, the cost of these tickets will not be refunded.
For bookings made within 30 days of the travel date, full payment is required at the time of reservation. These bookings are non-refundable.
Bank transfer in U.S. dollars (the client must cover all bank fees).
Payment details will be provided in the official invoice.
All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
The following conditions will apply based on the cancellation date:
More than 60 days before the trip: Refund of the total amount paid, minus the initial deposit and any non-refundable expenses.
Between 60 and 30 days before the trip: Refund of 50% of the total amount paid (minus the deposit and non-refundable expenses).
Less than 30 days before the trip: No refunds will be issued.
If Azonkoy must cancel a trip due to circumstances beyond its control (such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or unforeseen logistical issues), the client will receive a refund of all payments made, minus non-refundable expenses already incurred.
Certain services — such as train tickets, flights, hotels, or archaeological site permits — are governed by the cancellation policies of their respective providers.
Any refund request will therefore be subject to the provider’s conditions, which may include penalties or non-refundable charges.
Azonkoy cannot be held responsible if a provider denies a change or refund.
Changes requested before the trip are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
Once the trip has begun, any modification will depend on local availability, and no refunds will be issued for unused services.
Azonkoy reserves the right to modify itineraries for reasons of safety, weather, or logistical necessity — always maintaining the quality and integrity of the travel experience.

Health Conditions: Travelers must inform Azonkoy of any medical conditions or special requirements before departure.
Compliance: Travelers are expected to respect local laws, customs, and the guidance of their guides during the trip.

If any issue arises during your trip, please notify Azonkoy Travel immediately so we can assist in real time.
Complaints submitted after the trip cannot be considered for refunds.
